Beyond accepting credit cards as payment, we also offer a layaway plan where we will break-up the payment of your item into three (3), six (6) or twelve (12) monthly payments (payment terms vary by piece). Please message us for additional details about setting up a layaway. It can all be conducted right here automatically on the website or we can help you with it over the phone. No refunds will be given on funds for incomplete layaway purchases.
Our special super power is helping you find exactly what you’re looking for. If we don’t have just what you want in the shop or studio currently, we will search high and low until we find it. Looking for an amazing Art Deco engagement ring? We can do that. How about a Georgian intaglio brooch? Absolutely. And everything in-between. However, once we have found your piece and made the purchase on your behalf, you are committed to the piece and we require payment in full within 24 hours. We will do everything in our power to make sure you’re happy with it, up to and including exchanging it for another piece if you’re not satisfied, but we aren’t able to put special orders on layaway at this time.
If you’re in the Raleigh/Durham area, feel free to stop in to pick up your items (check local pickup at the time you place your order). We do our best to get your items shipped out to you quickly and safely. If you have a special date or need rush shipping, there are rush options when checking out, or feel free to reach out to us for help. Items being shipped within the US are usually shipped USPS Priority Mail Express, and include the provided insurance of $100. Should you wish to have your package insured for the full replacement amount of your purchased piece(s), please contact us prior to purchase for assistance. While we don’t expect any issues, KC & Co. is not responsible for any items lost during shipping and no refunds will be given for misplaced or shipper damaged items.
If you are purchasing outside of the US, our carrier of choice is DHL. Just as with our domestic shipments, no extra insurance is provided beyond what the carrier includes. Given that we have little control over a shipment once it has left our shores, we require that international buyers insure their purchases for the full purchase price. We’re happy to help you secure additional shipping insurance for your purchase – just contact us prior to buying. While we don’t expect any issues, Katie Callahan & Co. is not responsible for any items lost or damaged during shipping and no refunds will be given. We will, however, do our best to help you and/or the shipper locate any lost parcels.
Please note: To protect our customers and ourselves from those attempting fraudulent purchases using stolen credit cards, all orders will be required to be shipped to the billing address on file with your credit card company and any orders over $500 will need to be signed for at the time of delivery. Should you wish to have your order shipped to a different address from your billing address, please call our shop for assistance: 919-438-1133.
While it’s our hope that you are thrilled with your purchase, if you are unhappy with your item or feel that it is not as it was represented, we will cheerfully accept your return within seven (7) business days. Please contact us prior to returning your item, so that appropriate arrangements can be made and instructions given. You will be asked to provide shipping insurance for the full replacement value of the item and all materials and boxes will need to be returned, as well.
