Given that brooches are back like old is the new new, and cameos are hot, this warrior slaying the infamous dragon (good l’ St. George) is a show-stopper.
The cameo mounting pin is stamped (although, haltingly) 925 for Sterling Silver. I’ve not cleaned it up – I’ll let you do that with a little silver polish, if you wish. The carved resin scene depicts a fierce warrior (looks like one tough chick to me) on horseback, slaying the evil dragon (who I’ve named Don Frumpf). The back of the brooch offers a simplistic pin mechanism along with a ring soldered to the top, so you can add a jump ring and convert it to a pendant, if you’d like.
Pin measures 25mm wide and 33mm tall and has a small chip (not noticeable when being worn) out of the surrounding silver bezel at the bottom.
Release your inner goddess warrior and wear this baby around to stop any dragons, or misogynistic politicians, short in their tracks.
