Vintage Gold Filled Mid Century Panel Bracelet
We love a good every-day piece of jewelry. Something you can put on and wear without worrying about if it will compete with your outfit or be too much for day time wear. In our blog post about the 10 pieces of jewelry every woman should strive to have in her jewelry box, we list a gold bracelet for good reason. The simple gold bracelet won’t ever be too extra. It will go with everything. And it moves seamlessly from day to night. Our dainty Vintage Gold Filled Mid Century Panel Bracelet works just fine in that regard.
What We Love About It:
Its simplicity. The tiny panel links have an emblem on them that appears to be a cross between a fleur d’ lis and Christian cross. The motif is found on every link and on both sides no less, so you can’t really mess up putting it on in the dark of the wee morning hours.
The Deets:
The bracelet is gold filled and measures exactly 7″ inclusive of the clasp and jump ring and is .25″ wide. Speaking of the clasp, it’s a standard spring ring clasp that secures around a jump ring on the other end of the bracelet. The spring ring has markings to indicate the piece is gold filled and we estimate it to be from sometime between the 1930s and 1950s. Each tiny link is hollow and fastened front to back at the juncture where it meets the next link (see photo). This bracelet isn’t adjustable, so be sure to measure your wrist carefully.
Every day jewelry should be simple and elegant. Our sweet little panel bracelet is both.
