Are you ready for something totally mod and retro? Feeling a little Jetsons-ish? Then this sapphire Sputnik ring may be the one for you.
The 2.25ct violet-blue sapphire is a gorgeous shade of blue. It’s been called cornflower blue by some. There is a slight feather in the stone that’s visible with 10x magnification but other than that, it’s flawless. The 12 prong-set, round, brilliant cut diamonds are sparkly white (.70cts total and H-I color, SI1 clarity) and radiate outward from the center stone, like sunbeams.
The ring is currently a size 8 US/Q UK but could easily be sized up or down by my jeweler (for a fee – message me for details) or yours). It’s also stamped 585 and “SH” inside the shank and is 5.2 dwt.
