Victorian Reproduction Sapphire and Diamond Ring
Victorian Era 1905 – 1915 (Reproduction)
A tour guide in Rome once told me, “There’s nothing new under the sun.” She was talking about architecture and battles over lands, but it’s kind of true with jewelry too. I guess that’s why we often look backwards when creating new pieces. If the designs were good enough for, say, the Victorians, of course they’re good enough for us. And so goes this Victorian reproduction sapphire and diamond ring. It has almost all of the hallmarks of being a Victorian piece, but it’s a modern day creation. And we love it.
What We Love About It:
Well, besides it’s classic design, that sapphire is otherworldly. Like glows in the sunshine otherworldly. You’re going to have to trust us. It’s amazing.
The Deets:
The ring, crafted out of 14 karat yellow gold, features a square cushion cut genuine sapphire (dark strong blue) of approx. 1.04 cts (very moderately included) and two round brilliant diamonds at approx. 0.58 ctw (I-1/H & J). This is a reproduction not an antique ring. 3.5 grams. Finger size 6.25.
At its first peek on our social media, this ring sent folks into a frenzy, so we aren’t thinking it will be around for long. Get your “buy it now” clicking finger at the ready.
