Description
Victorian 14kt Rose Gold Raspberry Spinel and Diamond Three Stone Ring (Vintage)
Victorian c. 1835-1880
We have a penchant around here for the unique pieces. Those you won’t see anywhere else (like raspberry spinel). Sure we also love our standard Art Deco and Edwardian examples, but sometimes, it’s nice to see something a little different. Something you won’t come across on anyone else in your day to day life. This particular ring is one such piece.
What We Love About It:
The raspberry spinel at the center is definitely a show stopper. The center stone was missing when we found the ring and took it under our wing. We chose this spinel because of its color and how well the rose gold in the ring complimented it. It makes us think of summer every time we look at it.
The Deets:
The ring is crafted in 14kt rose gold and holds three stones. At the center, you’ll find a raspberry spinel weighing approx. .30cts with Old Mine Cut diamonds to the north and south of it. The diamonds are approx .20ctw and estimated at J-K/SI2 in color and clarity. All three stones are set in six-prong claw heads. It’s currently a size 6.5 but could easily be sized up or down by our jeweler (see pricing info above within this listing) or by yours. There is evidence of a previous sizing within the shank (see photos). It weighs in at 4.83g.
We’d love nothing more than to hear that some lucky couple chose this as an alternative to the traditional engagement ring so they can dream of raspberries and summer every day too.
