Victorian Banded Agate and 14kt Yellow Gold Ring (Antique)
We’d love to know what this banded agate ring has seen in its lifetime. We don’t know its full story (originating during Victorian times) but we do know that its last owner was the wife of an American diplomat – one that was supposedly an ambassador to Belgium. We purchased a few pieces from their estate and we can only imagine what they saw, heard and played a party to.
What We Love About It: We love banded agate and its variegation and color shifts. The earthy tones make this ring one that will go with just about anything. We could see it as an amazing pinky ring.
The Deets: The ring is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and at its center holds a cabochon cut banded agate with colors of rust, cream, chocolate and ebony. The stone is bezel set with a pierced-work undercarriage. It’s currently a size 3.5 US but could easily be sized up or down by our jeweler (see pricing and options in this listing) or yours.
Maybe you haven’t been able to travel the world yet. But at least your jewelry can have seen it all.
