Description
Art Deco Transitional Cut Diamond (.51cts) 14kt White Gold Engagement Ring (Vintage)
Some folks are between jobs. Some are between dwellings. And then there are some diamonds that are in transition. They’re not quite a Mine Cut or Old European Cut, nor are they today’s modern brilliant cut. They’re somewhere in-between with their larger table, lower crown and smaller culet. They’re a transitional cut diamond.
What We Love About It:
This stunning Art Deco engagement ring holds just such diamond. It glows like its OEC predecessors, but sparkles almost as much as the modern-day brilliants. These stones were still hand faceted, which makes each one a one-of-a-kind. Just like your sweetheart.
The Deets:
This ring weighs in at .59cts total weight (there are eight smaller, single cut side diamonds surrounding the center prong set transitional cut diamond, so we estimate the center stone to be about .51cts and it’s a VS1/G-H color), all nestled into a hand cut oval filigree shaped head with Edwardian/Art Deco stying. The ring is currently sized at 7.5 US but could easily be sized up or down by our jeweler (see this listing for options and pricing) or by yours.
