It’s no secret that we here at Katie Callahan & Co. love pearls. Maybe it’s the pull of their ties to the sea. Maybe it’s their creamy luster that we could get lost in for days. Or perhaps it’s the simple elegance they offer – going from the grocery store to the grand ballroom. But we digress. What we’re here to talk about today is this pretty pearl ring.
The three cultured pearls (4.34 – 5.24 mm), like the three bears, are juusssttt right. Especially when seated next to an old mine cut diamond both above and below each pearl and then several more (.15cts tw all in) on each side of the outermost pearls. Set snuggly in their platinum (tested) mount, we’re thinking that this was once a brooch that has been converted into a ring at some point after its Edwardian entrance into the world. And what a fine job they did.
The ring is marked 14kt and is currently a size 7.5 US but could easily be sized by our jeweler (message us for details and pricing prior to purchase) or by yours. The only question left is will you be wearing her to the grocery store or the grand ballroom first?
