Description
We don’t know about the rest of the world but here in the South in the United States, we love a good monogram. We monogram just about everything. We figure we’re not the only ones, since it seems that the idea of a monogram has been around for a long time. Even before this Edwardian signet ring was made.
What We Love About It: Everything. The simple clean lines. The fluting along the sides. And the barley discernible monogram that exists on there today. It honestly could be just about any initials.
The Deets: The ring is crafted in 14kt yellow gold (stamped inside) with a large “B” hallmark to the inside of the shank. On the oval top-facing surface there are two initials that have been carved in an old script but they are not anything we could make out. We’re fairly certain that they could be buffed off and new initials could be engraved onto the head of the ring. It’s currently a size 5.25 US but could be sized up or down by our jeweler (see options and pricing with this listing) or by yours. It weighs in at 2.99g.
We think this would make a great gift to that teen or grad to help them remember from whence they came. But we’ll leave that up to you. Along with the monogram.
