Edwardian 14kt White Gold and Platinum Filigree Diamond Bar Pin Necklace (Vintage)
Here we are, rocking the conversion situation once again. We bring you yet another repurposed piece. This white gold and platinum filigree diamond bar pin was just begging to become a necklace. Every day it asked us when it would get its turn to become a better version of itself. Not that there was anything wrong with it to begin with, but it had some competition in the shop as there were other similar pieces.
What We Love About It:
The East/West orientation is a bit of a surprise and really makes the former brooch stand out. It’s a stunner and a real conversation piece, that’s for sure.
The Deets:
The original brooch is platinum and 14kt white gold fashioned into an East/West filigree bar pin, with a prong-set, old cut central diamond at the center, measuring 3.5mm and weighing in at approx. .16cts (G/VS1). We added a 14kt white gold curb link chain measuring 18″, after removing the pin stem on the back. The piece measures 2.5″ across (East/West) and 1/2″ tall at the widest point (North/South) and weighs in at 4.87g.
Looking for something eye-catching and a little different? Ta da!
