Description
Edwardian 14kt White Gold Filigree Ruby and Diamond “Owl” Ring (Vintage)
Edwardian Era 1905 – 1915
Who who who, should you call when you need something unique and different in the jewelry world? Well us, of course. Especially if you have a bit of a fetish for our friends the owls. We adore this Edwardian filigree ruby and diamond ring. And we also feel like it looks like an owl. Which is ok by us. Because we adore owls.
What We Love About It:
Well, besides the owl thing, we’re a big fan of rubies. Ruby is WendyKate’s birthstone and there’s mystery in rubies. They’re dark and red and sultry. And this ruby is no exception.
The Deets:
The ring is crafted out of 14kt white gold and in the traditional Edwardian style with filigree to the front and back of the head and an engraved shank. At the center of the ring is a natural marquise cut ruby measuring 5.40mm x 2.1mm, flanked by two old mine cut diamonds – one on each side (.25ctw F/G – VS2), flush mount within 3/4 “tear-drop” bezel settings. The ring is currently a size 6.75 US but could be sized up or down by our jeweler (see options and pricing within this listing) or by yours. And it weighs in at 3.44g
Who who who will end up with this ring? We don’t know. Will it be you?
