Edwardian 14kt Yellow Gold Mine Cut (.36ctw) and Sapphire (1.37ctw) Ring
c. 1860-1900
Sapphires, in ancient history, were thought to symbolize nobility, truth, sincerity, and faithfulness. And who can argue with that? The deep blue that you can get lost in. It seems noble, truthful, sincere and very faithful. Pair some beautiful sapphires with some old mine cut diamonds and gorgeous filigree work and you have a dreamy confection.

What We Love About It:
That gallery! All of the hand carved scrolling filigree work is to die for. And the deep, deep blue of the sapphires next to the chunky diamonds – we could get lost in them.
The Deets:
The ring is modeled in 14kt yellow gold and set with three natural round cut sapphires (4.5 mm x 4.5 mm x 3.00 mm – 4.00 mm x 4.00 mm x 3.00 mm) at 1.37ctw. The mine cut diamonds (I-J/SI2), there are two, are old mine cut (3.50mm) and approximately .36ctw. The ring is currently a size 5.75 US but could easily be sized by our jeweler (see options above) or by yours.
Anniversary ring? Sure. Engagement Ring? Definitely could be. Or “just because it’s gorgeous”? Definitely.
